Abstract
It is definitely not rosy times companies and investors around the world are currently facing. Fears about the United States sliding back again into recession — a so-called double-dip — and the negative effects this could have on other economies such as Germany are prevalent. Yet another bubble is expected to burst in the next couple of months, following the tech bubble two and a half years ago: the U.S. housing market. If so, the repercussions on other economies would be even more dramatic and the next downturn would certainly be more severe than the last one.
