Fine Grain Parallelization of a Discrete Variable Wavepacket Calculation Using ASSIST-CL

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Computer Science ((LNCS,volume 3044))

Abstract

The fine grain parallelizzation of a code performing the time propagation of a wavepacket using a Discrete Variable approach is discussed. To this end a Task Farm model has been implemented. Performances obtained using MPI and the recently proposed skeleton based coordination language ASSIST-CL are compared.
