Abstract
Vaillant was founded in 1874 and has developed into Europe’s leading supplier of heating appliances. In 2001, the workforce of 7,500 achieved a turnover of € 1.3 billion, of which more than 70% was earned abroad. The introduction of Vaillant Excellence based on the EFQM (European Foundation of Quality Management) model has led to all the business processes at Vaillant being set out in detail and customer satisfaction being given the highest priority in all processes.
