Abstract
Ontologies have proved to be very useful in sharing concepts across applications in an unambiguous way. However, since web documents are not fully structured sources of information, it is not possible to utilize the benefits of a domain ontology straight away to extract information from such a document. In this paper we have proposed an uncertainty handling mechanism based on rough-fuzzy reasoning principles which can handle query-processing from unstructured web documents in an elegant way.
