Zusammenfassung

Eine allgemein akzeptierte Definition der im Folgenden mit den Begriffen „psychische Erkrankung“ oder „psychische Störung“ bezeichneten Phänomene findet man weder in einschlägigen Lehrbüchern noch in den aktuellen diagnostischen Klassifikationssystemen (Cockerham 2003). Auch die offizielle diagnostische Klassifikation psychischer Erkrankungen erfolgt nicht nach einem einheitlichen System (Freyberger 2003).
