Zusammenfassung
Angetrieben durch die Globalisierung, rapide technologische Veränderungen und Unsicherheit der Finanzmärkte sind Organisationen gezwungen, sich kontinuierlich zu verändern, Innovationen hervorzubringen und ein hohes Ausmaß an Leistungsfähigkeit und Motivation der Mitarbeiter aufrecht zu erhalten. Effektive Führung wird dabei von vielen Organisationen als entscheidender Wettbewerbsvorteil angesehen, in dessen Förderung daher viel investiert wird (McCall, 1998; Vicere & Fulmer, 1998). Doch obwohl das Interesse an der Förderung von Führungskompetenzen groß ist (Day, 2000; Murphy & Riggio, 2003; Pearce, Waldman & Csikszentmihalyi, 2006) und enorme Summen in diesen Bereich investiert werden (vgl. 2008 State of the Industry Report), sind systematische Ansätze, die die Umsetzung der neu erworbenen Kompetenzen am Arbeitsplatz fördern, noch immer selten. Dieser Beitrag beschreibt daher, wie effektive Führung mithilfe einer Kombination aus Gruppenworkshops und Einzelcoachings in der wirtschaftlichen Praxis trainiert werden kann.
