Soziale Arbeit als Wohlfahrtsproduktion ist der Name und das Arbeitsprogramm einer Forschungsgruppe, die sich vor einiger Zeit im Arbeitsbereich Sozialpädagogik an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster gegründet hat. Thematisch lässt sich das Programm der Forschungsgruppe wie folgt skizzieren.
