Zusammenfassung
Die Anwerbung und Bindung geeigneter Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter zählt zu den zentralen Aufgaben unternehmerischer Tätigkeit. Trotz der derzeitigen Wirtschaftskrise ist zu erwarten, dass die Bewältigung dieser Aufgabe in den nächsten Jahren zunehmend schwieriger wird. Der sich bereits vor der Krise abzeichnende Kampf um Fach- und Führungskräfte, der Headhunter-Firmen traumhafte Zuwach sraten einbrachte, wird wieder an Intensität gewinnen (vgl. Fernández-Aráoz, Groysberg & Nohria 2009: 26). Selbst im Rezessionsjahr 2009 fehlten der deutschen Wirtschaft mehr als 60.000 Fachkräfte. Bis 2020 soll sich die Zahl auf über 400.000 erhöhen (vgl. Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft Köln 2009: 8). Auch in Bereichen niedrig qualifizierter Arbeit ist Personalmangel zukünftig wahrscheinlich . So gehen aktuelle Projektionen davon aus, dass insbesondere in den Bereichen haushaltsnahe Dienstleistungen und Einzelhandel bis 2020 mit einer Personallücke von mehreren hunderttausend Personen zu rechnen ist (vgl. McKinsey&Company 2008).
