Zusammenfassung
In 2004 the BBC proposed to apply the notion of public value to guide PSB and assess its performance. This represented a break with the traditional arguments developed by public service broadcasters in Europe. Now, six years later, we know that the impact of that decision on public service broadcasting across the continent was lasting and profound.
