Zusammenfassung
Die Methodik der sozialen Netzwerkanalyse (SNA) ist auf die quantitative Untersuchung von strukturellen Mustern in Graphen ausgerichtet. Die Analyse arbeitet gegenwärtig meist mit Daten aus einer einmaligen und kumulierten Erhebung der Netzwerkstruktur zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt. Diese Herangehensweise erfordert, dass dieser eine Graph des finalen Zustands repräsentativ für die Gesamtentwicklung des Netzwerks ist. Diese Annahme ist jedoch nicht immer korrekt und vereinfacht die zugrunde liegende, nicht beobachtete, Dynamik stark. Gerade für die Untersuchung von Veränderungen sind daher explizitere Verfahren der sog. dynamischen Netzwerkanalyse erforderlich.
