Zusammenfassung

Die in zeitgenössischen Kriegen gegen Männer verübte Gewalt stellt zunehmend feministische Dichotomien von omnipotenten Männlichkeiten und verletzlichen Weiblichkeiten in Frage. Dies gilt für alle Formen von Gewalt, trifft aber in besonderem Maße auf sexuelle Gewalt zu. Multiple Formen der Verletzungsoffenheit spezifi scher Gruppen von Männern in kriegerischen Konfl ikten erscheinen einerseits sichtbarer denn je; andererseits bleiben sie doch sorgfältig vor den Augen der Öffentlichkeit verborgen. Eine wichtige Rolle bei der Zurschaustellung, aber auch beim Unsichtbarmachen von sexuell missbrauchten männlichen Körpern spielen in diesem Zusammenhang die Medien.
