Zusammenfassung
Mit dem Begriff des Netzwerks werden paradigmatisch gesellschaftliche, ökonomische und politische Wandlungsprozesse beschrieben, die bis in die 1960er/1970er Jahre zurückverfolgt werden können. So zeichnen etwa Luc Boltanski und Éve Chiapello mittels eines qualitativen Vergleiches der französischen Management- Literatur der 1960er-Jahre und der 1990er-Jahre Prozesse der Neuorganisation wirtschaftlicher Produktion nach, welche, so die Autoren, schließlich in einen „neuen Geist des Kapitalismus“ münden, der von Flexibilität, Mobilität, Kreativität und Eigenverantwortung charakterisiert ist. In ihrer Analyse wird die Kapitalismuskritik der 1960er/1970er Jahre als entscheidendes Moment in der Umorganisierung gesellschaftlichen Lebens hin zu netzförmigen Formen benannt. So habe insbesondere die Künstlerkritik der sozialen Bewegungen der 1960er Jahre einen eben solchen ‚neuen‘ Geist ermöglicht, welcher sich weniger aus grenzziehenden, sondern vielmehr aus inkludierenden Codes speise (Boltanski/Chiapello 2003).
