Zusammenfassung
Anfang 2006 gelingt einem ‚Nano-Unternehmen’ ein eindrucksvoller Start an der Börse: Die Neosino Nanotechnologies AG vertreibt Nahrungsergänzungsmittel mit nanopartikulären Mineralstoffen, die die Regeneration des Körpers optimieren sollen und daher besonders für Sportler angepriesen werden. Der Deutsche Sportbund empfiehlt die Mittel, der FC Bayern München wirbt für sie. Am ersten Handelstag steigt der Preis der ausgegebenen Aktien zeitweise um mehr als 70 Prozent und verdreifacht sich sogar innerhalb weniger Wochen. Im März 2006 kommt es zu negativen Schlagzeilen: Das Produkt enthält laut einem Bericht des Fernsehmagazins Panorama überhaupt keine Nanopartikel, die angebliche Produktionsstätte auf Malta existiert nicht einmal. Der Kurs fällt, bleibt jedoch oberhalb seines Ausgabewertes – trotz einer breiten negativen Berichterstattung und obwohl die Staatsanwaltschaft ermittelt.
