Zusammenfassung
Lebenslauf und Lebensqualität stellen zwei Begriffe dar, die sich im sozialwissenschaftlichen als auch politischen Diskurs einer hohen Aufmerksamkeit erfreuen. Dabei werden sie in einer Vielzahl politischer Bereiche angewandt, sei es zur Ableitung (sozial)politischer Maßnahmen oder zur Legitimation von Zielen und Strategien (sozial)politischen Handelns. Die Präsenz des Lebensqualitätsbegriffes ist jedoch auf allen Ebenen politischer Aktivität (von Kommunal-, über Landes- bis hin zur Bundespolitik) um einiges höher, was zum einen mit der großen semantischen Pluralität, zum anderen mit der uneinheitlichen und eines Konsenses missenden theoretischen Konzipierung des Begriffes zusammenhängen dürfte.
