Handbuch der Internationalen Politik

Zusammenfassung

Institutionen und die Frage nach dem Geltungsbereich ihrer Normen und Regeln stehen heute häufig im Mittelpunkt der internationalen Politik. Der Streit um die Rechte und Pflichten, die sich aus der Mitgliedschaft eines Landes im nuklearen Nichtverbreitungsregime ergeben, die damit verbundenen Handlungsmöglichkeiten der Internationalen Atomenergiebehörde (IAEA) im Fall von Regelverstößen, die Weiterentwicklung bestehender Sicherheitsregime, wie beispielsweise des Vertrags über konventionelle Streitkräfte in Europa (KSE), oder die Beziehungen zwischen der Europäischen Union und Russlands im Bereich der Energiepolitik sind aktuelle Beispiele dafür.
