Zusammenfassung
Der vorliegende Artikel interessiert sich für die Ausbreitungsmechanismen der Subprime-Krise, die ursprünglich als eine Liquiditätskrise des Immobilienkreditgewerbes in den USA begann und sich dann über den gesamten Finanzsektor erstreckte. Es geht dabei um die Ausweitung von einer Krise einzelner Kreditinstitute und Investmentbanken zu einer Krise des Finanzmarktes und seiner Produkte, insbesondere des Aktienmarktes. Im Zentrum der Überlegungen stehen, neben einer empirischen Analyse zu diesem Ausbreitungsprozess am Beispiel der USA, theoretische Erörterungen zur soziologisch-ökonomischen Ontologie von Finanzmärkten, weil diese m. E. für diejenigen Finanzmarktstrukturen verantwortlich zeichnet, die eine Ausbreitung der Krise maßgeblich befördert und verstärkt haben.
