Auszug
In der wissenschaftlichen Literatur und in der politischen Debatte der letzten Jahre wurden Rating-Agenturen vermehrt zum Gegenstand des Interesses. Das folgende Kapitel widmet sich diesen Entwicklungen und gibt einen systematischen und kritischen Überblick über den aktuellen Forschungsstand und stellt an den Beispielen der USA, Deutschlands und der EU dar, wie und aus welchen Gründen Rating-Agenturen zum Gegenstand politischer Auseinandersetzung wurden. Das Ziel dieses Kapitels ist es zu zeigen, dass die bisherigen Ansätze der wissenschaftlichen Literatur kein ausreichendes Analyseraster bieten, um der komplexen Wirkungsweise der Rating-Agenturen in der politischen Realität gerecht zu werden.
