Jede Veränderung bedeutet, dass ein Mensch sein bekanntes und gewohntes Tun, sein Umfeld, seine Gewohnheiten, seine Rolle, kurzum seinen Status quo verlassen muss. Der Status quo beinhaltet jedoch für jeden Menschen in der Regel einen mehr oder minder großen Nutzen und eine Reihe von Bequemlichkeiten. Diesen zu verlassen ist auf den ersten Blick oft mit Nachteilen, mit subjektivem Aufwand oder gar Beeinträchtigungen verbunden.
