Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Beitrag reflektiert transnationale und transmediale Dimensionen der sozialräumlichen Konstellationen und Praktiken in der Arbeit mit Transitmigrant*innen und Geflüchteten. Während eine Soziologie der transnationalen Räume (Pries 2010), überzeugend das relationale Raumverständnis sozialräumlicher Handlungsfelder der Migration adressierte, gelang es ihr noch nicht die für die Transnationalisierung des Sozialraums bedeutende Dimension von Transmedialität, Informalität und Translokalität zu berücksichtigen. Auch sozialräumliche Aspekte von urban citizenships, d. h. von Politiken der städtischen Zugehörigkeit von TransmigrantInnen (Lebuhn 2017; Pott und Tsianos 2015) sind bisher kaum rezipiert.
