Zusammenfassung

Ein sich vom Erwachsenenstrafrecht unterscheidender Umgang mit Jugendkriminalität ist historisch gesehen eine Entwicklung des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts, als mit dem Aufkommen wissenschaftlicher Disziplinen wie der Entwicklungspsychologie, der Soziologie (des Jugendalters bzw. des abweichenden Verhaltens), der Pädagogik/Erziehungswissenschaften und nicht zuletzt der Rechtswissenschaft die Besonderheiten des Jugendalters als eigenständiger Lebensphase „entdeckt“ wurden.
