Folgt man Ugelvik (2016, S. 216), so erfahren narrative Ansätze in der Kriminologie derzeit wachsende Beliebtheit. Tatsächlich mehren sich kriminologische Studien, die dem internationalen und interdisziplinären ‚narrative turn‘ nahestehen. Dabei mag es zunächst eine Irritation auslösen, Kriminalität als eine „Erzählung“ zu beschreiben.
