Zusammenfassung

Die Eigenständigkeit der Wirtschaft gegenüber anderen Bereichen der Gesellschaft ist ein alter und vertrauter, meist eher besorgt als beruhigt formulierter Gedanke. Vermutlich ist er so alt wie die Phänomene des Eigentums, des Geldes und des Zinses. Wer Eigentum besitzt, besitzt damit auch eine gewisse Unabhängigkeit von gesellschaftlichen Einflüssen, so sehr er auch umgekehrt in der Anerkennung und Bewertung dieses Eigentums von der Gesellschaft abhängig ist.
