Zusammenfassung

In den Wirtschaftswissenschaften gibt es überraschenderweise keine spezifische Forschung zum Thema der Übergänge von der Schule ins Erwerbsleben. Wohl findet man zahlreiche Artikel zum beruflichen Einstieg junger Menschen, aber diese Phase ist nicht Gegenstand einer spezifischen Theorie. Tatsächlich betrifft die Transition von der Schule ins Erwerbsleben mehrere zentrale Konzepte der Arbeitsmarkt- und Bildungsökonomie. Zu denken ist insbesondere ans Humankapitalmodell, welches Bildungsentscheidungen aufgreift.
