  • Pinar Tuzcu

Abstract

This article filcuses on the pom-rapper and artist Lady Bitch Ray and her ‚Vagioa Style’ from a transcultural perspective. The analysis of her artistic performance seeks to explore the linkage between migration, gender, and popular culture in contemporary German society. What makes Lady Bitch Ray particularly interesting is her way of displaying explicit sexuality as a female artist with Turkish immigrant background.
