Zusammenfassung
Organisationen stellen den natürlichen Ausgangspunkt für jegliche PR-Forschung dar, da ohne die Entwicklung einer Organisationsgesellschaft (Schimank 2001) die Kommunikationsfunktion Public Relations heute kaum denkbar wäre. Erst Industrialisierung, Urbanisierung, Demokratisierung und das Aufkommen von Meinungsfreiheit und Massenmedien haben PR in ihrer heutigen Form möglich gemacht (Szyszka 1997).
