Dieser Satz aus der zweiten Phase der Arbeit an Volksreligion und Christentum weist gleichsam auf das Manuskript Hegels voraus, das unter dem Titel Das Leben Jesu bekanntgeworden ist. Ihm kommt in mehrfacher Hinsicht eine Sonderstellung zu.
