Zussamenfassung
Die Gender-Forschung hat sich mit dem Tristan Gottfrieds teilweise intensiv auseinandergesetzt. Mehr oder weniger Übereinstimmung scheint darin zu bestehen, dass zwar einerseits in »Gottfried’s world, men occupy all positions of political, social, and economic power« (Rasmussen 2003, S. 138), dass aber andererseits Gottfrieds Text einer »pro-feminine tradition« (ebd. S. 139) zugehört.
