Wolf entwickelt nach 1968 ein literarisches Verfahren, das den Erfahrungshorizont der DDR-Gegenwart auf den ihrer Sozialisation im Nationalsozialismus treffen lässt – ein Verfahren der Alterität, in dem beide Normund Moralsysteme in ein Verhältnis intensiver Nähe zueinander treten und einander wechselseitig mit Bedeutung versehen.
