Zussamenfassung
Zu den bedeutendsten Autorinnen des 20. Jahrhunderts gehört für Christa Wolf die schon mehrfach genannte Anna Seghers. Als richtungweisend gilt Seghers’ öffentliches Engagement im Kulturbetrieb der DDR wie auch ihre breit angelegte Poetologie – die Verbindung von Fiktion und Realität, von mythologischer Tiefe und zeitgenössischer Brisanz (vgl. WA 8, 280 f.).
