Zussamenfassung
Die Position des Sentientismus (von lat. sentire: empfinden, fühlen), auch bekannt unter dem Namen ›Pathozentrismus‹ (von griech. pathos: Leiden), stellt innerhalb der Umweltethik eine moderate Variante des Physiozentrismus dar und damit eine der Gegenpositionen zum Anthropozentrismus (s. Kap. I).
