Zusammenfassung

Seit den Anschlägen in New York und Arlington am 11. September 2001 gewann der Begriff Radikalisierung in Wissenschaft, Politik und Medien gleichermaßen an Popularität. Allerdings offenbart sein Gebrauch verschiedene Schwierigkeiten, die letztlich dazu führen, dass ein Teil der Radikalisierungsforschung das fördert, was eigentlich verhindert werden soll.
