S. Bongies Bemerkung zu Page: “The examples he cites seem to offer some corroboration, however, of the place of the word in the heroic vocabulary” [1977, S.51]. Auch Knox zählt αὐθαδία zu den Ausdrücken, mit denen heroische Qualitäten von der verständnislosen Umwelt bezeichnet werden. S.a. W.-H. Friedrich [1968, S.235].
