Zusammenfassung

Das Erscheinen von Blindness and Insight im Jahre 1971 begründete die Reputation Paul de Mans. Dieser Umstand sollte jedoch nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, daß es sich bei den darin enthaltenen Aufsätzen mit der Ausnahme von “Rhetoric of Blindness” um solche handelt, die zuvor schon an anderer Stelle veröffentlicht wurden.
