Zusammenfassung

Lied heißt im Folgenden eine als Einheit in mündlicher Tradition lebende Fabel. Der Ausdruck darf nicht im Sinne Heuslers (d. h. als Gegensatz zum Epos) verstanden werden. Die Mehrzahl dieser Beobachtungen gelten auch für eine als Prosa überlieferte Fabel, aber Lied ist der Ausdruck des mündlichen Sängers für sein Kunstwerk.
