Zusammenfassung
Im Zentrum der folgenden Überlegungen steht zum einen die Entwicklung der Wissensrepräsentation von Makroräumen bei Kindern und zum anderen die damit verbundenen spezifischen Probleme der Ontogenese verbaler lokalreferentieller Fähigkeiten. Unter Makroraum — im Gegensatz zu Mikroraum — verstehe ich dabei einen Raum, der von einem Punkt aus nicht vollständig überblickt werden kann. Dies bedeutet, daß man sich in ihm bewegen muß, um ihn kennenzulernen. Der Unterschied zwischen Mikro-und Makroraum hat also auch eine zeitliche Dimension: Ein Kleinraum ist sozusagen gleichzeitig, auf einen Blick erfahrbar, wohingegen Großräume wiederholte, sukzessive Erfahrungen verlangen.
