Zusammenfassung
Ziel der vorliegenden Studie ist es, jüngere Erkenntnisse der Musikpsychologie und der systematischen Musikwissenschaft in ihrer Bedeutung für die Musiktheorie zu diskutieren. In den letzten Jahrzehnten ist ein besonders großer Zuwachs an Arbeiten aus dem Schnittbereich von Musikpsychologie und Musiktheorie zu beobachten. Diese Entwicklung steht in einem historischen Prozeß, der wenigstens bis vor die Jahrhundertwende zurückreicht2 und dessen Folgen für die künftige Musiktheorie noch nicht abzusehen sind. Es scheint hilfreich, zunächst die Disziplinen anhand ihrer Grundorientierungen kurz zu reflektieren.
