Zusammenfassung

Die britische Kronkolonie Grenada, die zuvor durch den Gouverneur der Windward Islands Federation verwaltet worden war, gliederte sich in die 1958 von zehn britischen Insel-Kolonien gegründete British West Indies Federation ein. Es war das Ziel dieser Föderation, die bereits 1962 auseinanderbrach, als wirtschaftlich und politisch lebensfähige Einheit von Großbritannien unabhängig zu werden.
