Gas-Liner Pinch as a Source for High Density Plasma Spectroscopy

  • Chapter
Physics of Nonideal Plasmas

Part of the book series: TEUBNER-TEXTE zur Physik ((TTZP,volume 26))

Abstract

The gas-liner pinch is used for spectroscopic investigations in dense ideal plasmas. Features are discussed that make the device also suitable for observing Stark broadening and shifts of spectral lines in weakly non-ideal plasmas.
