Zusammenfassung

Simulationen sind Experimente mit Modellen, die mit dem Zweck erfolgen, aus Erkenntnissen über das Modellverhalten Rückschlüsse auf das Verhalten der Realität abzuleiten1). Modelle sind dabei durch isolierende Abstraktion gewonnene vereinfachte Abbilder der Wirklichkeit2). Aufgabe von Experimenten ist es, relevante Aspekte des Untersuchungsobjektes planmäßig zu variieren und die Konsequenzen der Variationen zu beobachten.
