Zusammenfassung
Die Herzklinik ist heute in der Lage, mit Hilfe einer Vielzahl von Methoden wertvolle, auch quantitative Aussagen über Zustand sowie effektive und potentielle Leistung des Herzens zu machen. Leider bedeuten davon einige Verfahren teilweise eine nicht unerhebliche Belastung für den Kranken, so daß sie für eine Routinediagnostik nur wenig geeignet sein dürften. Hier kann ein wesentlicher Fortschritt von der Isotopenanwendung erwartet werden. Wegen ihrer einfachen und exakten Meßbarkeit bieten die Radioisotope bei Fehlen jeglicher Strapazierung des Kranken eine diagnostische Möglichkeit, die zu nutzen auch die Herzklinik bereits begonnen hat.
