Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff der »internationalen Politik«, zentral für eine Teildisziplin der Politikwissenschaft und zugleich ihre Bezeichnung, wird von der Wirklichkeit immer mehr in Frage gestellt: Im internationalen Geschehen werden jene Prozesse ständig gewichtiger, die sich nicht mehr eindeutig einem zwischenstaatlichen Milieu im Sinne des Modells der inter-nationalen Politik zuordnen lassen. Manche der ihm logisch zugeordneten Modelle, vor allem das der Souveränität, oder nachgeordnete Theoreme wie etwa die Lehre von der Gewaltenteilung müßten damit ebenfalls in Frage gestellt sein.
