Zusammenfassung
Griechenland wurde, zusammen mit den anderen traditionellen Emigrationsstaaten Südeuropas, in letzter Zeit zu einem Einwanderungsland. Die Unsicherheit über die wirkliche Anzahl der Immigranten und die Zusammensetzung der Neuankömmlinge — beides in Bezug auf Nationalität und legalem Status — verursachten ebenso wie die starke Auffälligkeit einiger Zuwanderer den Anstieg ambivalenter Haltungen in diesem ethnisch und religiös homogenen Land.
