Abstract

Since I entered the organziational arena as a participant, analyst, trainer and teacher in 1960 I have been fascinated by the multiple and changing shades of organizational reality and the lack of a cohesive framework of what constitutes an organization as a man-made phenomenon for coordinating men, mind and means.
