Zusammenfassung

Nachdem ALMOND/VERBA Ähnlichkeiten und Differenzen in den Mustern politischer Einstellungen von fünf verschiedenen Politischen Kulturen aufgezeigt hatten, versuchten sie, aus ihren Ergebnissen systemtheoretische Schlußfolgerungen für ‚demokratische Stabilität‘ zu ziehen.1 Welchen Einflug hat die Politische Kultur eines Landes auf das jeweilige politische System, dessen Teil sie ist? Gibt es ein spezifisches Muster von politischen Einstellungen, das konstitutiv für die Bildung und Erhaltung einer stabilen, effektiven Demokratie ist? Gibt es eine passende, spezifisch ‚demokratische Politische Kultur‘ für ein demokratisches politisches System?
