Zusammenfassung
Es herrscht Nostalgie in der späten Neuzeit, schreibt der amerikanische Politologe William Connolly, Sehnsucht nach einer „Zeit, in der es noch möglich war, sich eine klar verständliche Politik des ‘Ortes’ als eine realistische Zukunftsmöglichkeit vorzustellen” (Connolly 1991: 463).1 Von einem feministischen Standpunkt betrachtet erscheint diese Sehnsucht eher als ein Bedürfnis nach Rückkehr in ein goldenes Zeitalter, in dem Frauen ihren zugewiesenen Ort im Haushalt und der Nation noch stillschweigend akzeptierten.
