Zusammenfassung
Aus dreierlei Gründen war es schwierig, diesen Beitrag zu verfassen. Erstens ist das Thema nicht nur empirisch gesehen weitläufig und komplex, sondern auch theoretisch vielfach verzweigt. Zweitens gibt es nur wenige Beiträge, die sich mit dem Zusammenhang zwischen den drei vorgegebenen Aspekten beschäftigen, obwohl sehr viele Arbeiten durchaus einem oder zweien dieser Aspekte gewidmet sind. In Anbetracht dieses Mangels an veröffentlichten Arbeiten ist es drittens wahrscheinlich töricht, wenn nicht anmaßend, für einen männlichen Staatstheoretiker, der noch dazu ein Neuling auf dem Gebiet der Geschlechterstudien ist, eine Forschungsagenda für andere Theoretikerinnen oder Aktivistinnen vorzuschlagen. Dennoch hat es mich gereizt, die Einladung der beiden feministischen Herausgeberinnen dieses Sonderheftes anzunehmen, zumal die Zusammenhänge zwischen diesen drei Dimensionen sehr oft vernachlässigt werden. Wenn ich mich einiger dieser Fragen annehme, beanspruche ich jedoch keineswegs, einen direkten Beitrag zu einer feministischen Analyse der Weltwirtschaft und/oder des Nationalstaates zu leisten. Meine Anmerkungen werden sich vielmehr mit einigen theoretischen Fragen beschäftigen, die in bezug auf die geschlechtsspezifische Natur der Transformation des Nationalstaates im Zeitalter der Globalisierung aufgeworfen werden. Aus den drei angegebenen Gründen sollten meine Bemerkungen als vorläufige Vorschläge für eine im Entstehen begriffene Forschungsagenda aufgefaßt werden, keineswegs jedoch als endgültige Schlußfolgerungen eines wohlfundierten Forschungsprogrammes.
