Zusammenfassung

Verbindungen, welche die Strukturelemente enthalten, liegen im Bereich zwischen den Komplexen reiner σ-Donator Liganden (ÜM-Alkyle) und der grossen Klasse der σ-Donator/π-Akzeptor Komplexe (L = CO, Phosphan etc.). Zwar verfügen Alkenyl-, Alkinyl- und Arylreste über unbesetzte π*-Orbitale, die im Prinzip in der Lage sein sollten, mit besetzten Metall(d)-Orbitalen in Wechselwirkung zu treten, jedoch weisen Strukturdaten darauf hin, dass diesem M...C-Doppelbindungsanteil hier nur geringe Bedeutung zukommt. Ein Hinweis auf einen solchen wäre ein M-C-Bindungsabstand, der die Summe der Einfachbindungs-Kovalenzradien der beteiligten Atome unterschritte.
