Zusammenfassung
Die Sortieralgorithmen des 3. Kapitels legen nur eine einfache eindimensionale Verbindungsstruktur der Prozessoren zugrunde. Jetzt werden dagegen parallele Algorithmen zur Multiplikation von Matrizen betrachtet, die auf etwas komplizierteren Topologien agieren und damit auch etwas aufwendigere Kommunikations- und Synchronisationsschemata erfordern.
