Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag thematisiert ein mögliches Modell für das konzeptuelle Wissen über Teile von dreidimensionalen, statischen Objekten. Als Domäne werden einfache Objekte des täglichen Lebens wie Stühle und Tische verwendet, die dann um komplexere Objekte wie Räume und Wohnungen ergänzt werden. Unser Ziel ist eine Computermodellierung der Repräsentation und Verarbeitung von Wissen über die Teilstrukturen von Objekten. Eine Einschränkung der Arbeit liegt darin, daß der Faktor Zeit unberücksichtigt bleibt. Wir betrachten weder Veränderungen der Teilstruktur insgesamt, z.B. das Anbauen einer Terrasse an ein Haus oder das Abreißen eines Vordaches, noch die Auswechslung einzelner Teile über die Zeit, z.B. das stete Ersetzen einzelner Dachziegel durch neue. Die entwickelte Modellierung umfaßt starre Objekte wie Stühle oder Häuser, aber keine mit beweglichen Teilen wie Maschinen oder Lebewesen. Nur abtrennbare Teile wie ein Deckel sind modellierbar. Beide Beschränkungen sind nicht prinzipieller Natur, das von uns vorgeschlagene Modell und die Computermodellierung könnten entsprechend erweitert bzw. geändert werden.
