Zusammenfassung

Das Männliche und das Weibliche sind „nicht nur Geschlechter, sondern Welten“ (Fabbrini ,Melucci 1992: 101). Diese Welten sind sozial in der geschlechtsspezifischen Arbeitsteilung begründet, in der Trennung von produktiver und reproduktiver Sphäre, in der unterschiedlichen Bestimmung von Werten. Aus der Trennung dieser Welten entspringen auch unterschiedliche Zeiterfahrungen, — verschiedene Modi der Zeitwahrnehmung und des alltäglichen Zeiterlebens1. In der Analyse des Zeiterlebens lassen sich die Geschlechtsunterschiede entfalten: „Die Lebenszeit, ihre Organisation, die Bedeutung, die ihren verschiedenen Dimensionen gegeben wird, wird zum Rahmen ... der Definition und der sozialen Erfahrung des Geschlechts“ (Saraceno 1987: 138).
